For macro photography, I generally use the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro USM lens. It allows me to take lots of close-up photos of little creatures that live in my back garden. To raise the bar of macro photography, I'm occasionally using the Canon MP-E 65mm f/2.8 1-5x Macro lens as well.
